-How does the CSA at 47 Daisies work?
We have three options if you're interested in joining a CSA.
Our market share is a way to personalize your CSA experience. You pay us $100 for a market share, and in return, you get a credit of $115 to spend on any products we offer either in the 47 Daisies Community Store in Vassalboro or any market we attend. We do not pre pack your share with this option. You have a credit and can spend it however you like. You can purchase as many market shares as you need per season. This is a revolving credit and does not expire. It can be used and renewed year round. Buy Now - Shop Now. NOTE: Market Shares may not be used for payment of special orders.
We also offer a traditional CSA where your box is packed in advance for you. It will consist of vegetables we have in season at the time. You will be able to pick up either at the 47 Daisies Community Store on Saturdays, Skowhegan Farmers Market on Saturdays, Augusta Mill Park Market on Tuesdays. New in 2017, all traditional CSA members will have the opportunity to pick their own bouquet of fresh flowers every week at the farm! Our full traditional CSA share is $460 for 18 weeks and will have 8-10 vegetables per week. Our half traditional CSA share is $280 for 18 weeks and will consist of 4-6 items per week. If not paying in full, a non-refundable deposit of $25 is required to hold your spot. The remainder of the payment is due on or before May 15th.
New in 2017, we now offer a 14-week Mushroom Share for $80. If not paying in full, a non-refundable deposit of $25 is required to hold your spot. The remainder of the payment is due on or before May 15th.
